Hobart Promotes Bob Bilokonsky to Vice President/General Manager
Hobart Filler Metals is pleased to announce the
promotion of Bob Bilokonsky to the role of vice
president/general manager (VP/GM).
Bilokonsky joined Hobart in 2010 as a sourcing
manager and also served in the capacity of
supply chain manager for the company for two
years. He has taken on progressively more responsibilities as a business unit manager for several
filler metal segments, most recently overseeing metal-cored and aluminum products.
“Bob has proven himself to be an exceptional and integral part the Hobart team for the last 11
years,” says John Hartnett, executive vice president, ITW Welding. “His proven leadership has set
the course for success in his new role, and I’m confident he will excel in it.”
In this new position, Bilokonsky will have overall profit and loss responsibility for the Hobart Filler
Metal division. He and his team will also be concentrating on customer growth and retention, with
a continued focus on innovation and operational excellence.
Bilokonsky has assumed the responsibilities of former VP/GM David Knoll, who retired after holding the position since 2015 and working
for other Illinois Tool Works (ITW) welding companies, including Miller Electric Mfg. LLC, for more than 20 years.
