HOBART INSTITUTE PARTICIPATES IN NATIONAL
mANUFACTURING DAY 2013
In celebration of the 12 million talented
men and women who work in the industry,
October 4 was designated as National
Manufacturing Day, an initiative started by
the National Association of Manufacturers.
The day is designed to expand knowledge
about and improve general public
perception of manufacturing careers and
manufacturing’s value to the U.S. economy.
Hobart Institute and Admissions
Representative Janet Piechocki participated
in local activities arranged by the Troy
Area Chamber of Commerce by hosting
tours of the Institute and explaining careers
in welding to local high school students.
