IN MEMORIAM
Aaron Frank Patrick Slemker, 21, of Clayton,
Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 22,
2014 as a result of a motorcycle accident in Maryland.
He was participating in a training session at the Maryland
International Raceway when he lost control of his 2012
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 R motorcycle and struck a cement
barrier.
Aaron was a beloved son, brother, grandson and nephew. He
was a graduate of Northmont High School in 2011 and had
completed the Combination Structural and Pipe Welding
Program at Hobart Institute of Welding Technology. He
was employed at ATK Space Systems, Beavercreek, and
was also a technician for Montgomery Motorsports. Aaron Yvonne Smith; cousins Caleb, Callie, Calvin, and James;
was a member of the FUSE-Blind Aggression Professional other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in
Paintball Team, the nonprofit Athletes Joined Against death by his grandparents Virginia Slemker and Geron and
Spondylitis (AJAS), and a People to People Ambassador. Mayme Smith.
He was also a former Boy Scout with Troop 325 in Clayton.
Funeral services were held on July 28 with interment
Aaron is survived by his parents, Tracy and Lorelei (Smith) in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Brookville. Memorial
