ASSABET VALLEY WELDING STUDENTS BRING JOY TO

            HOMELESS VETERANS

            By Neil Mansfield

Most, if not all Americans, can agree on one thing; the
second most important people who are close and dear
to our hearts, following our immediate families, are our
beloved military veterans. They are the ones who allow
us to pursue a free, happy, prosperous, and productive
lifestyle that we choose. However, too many veterans
in our country have fallen on hard times in making
ends meet and enduring hardships from combat tours

            Marlborough, Massachusetts our metal fabrication
/ welding students stepped forward and decided to
make a difference in reaching out to lend a helping
hand to Worcester Massachusetts’ homeless veterans.

This year our school introduced a program called
“Learn to Serve,” a community-based program where Assabet students display gift to homeless shelter.
