EXHIBITS AT TROY
BICENTENNIAL
OPENING
Hobart Institute was one of many exhibitors who participated
in the opening of the Bicentennial celebration of the City of
Troy. The display featured two framed photos of the Hobart
Brothers Company Main Street manufacturing factory being
constructed in 1925. Visitors continued to inquire about
the old main street plant due to the recent announcement of
the upcoming demolition of the plant in early 2014. Also
displayed in the booth was a continuous video showing an
incredible timeline of events from the early years of Hobart
brothers’ youth to the very modern Hobart Institute of Welding
Technology of today.
