Mission At Sea

I volunteered with Operation Mobilization on the ship MV Logos
Hope for 13 months. Churches and friends fnancially supported
me. I was the full time welder on board and was constantly doing
maintenance and improvements.

The ship has a crew of 400 and our goal was to bring knowledge,
help, and hope to the people of the world. It is the largest foating
book fair in the world with a variety of over 5,000 different titles
of books, including Bibles.

During my year on the ship I sailed to ports in Taiwan, Singapore,
Malaysia, Philippines, and Hong Kong. This experience flled
my dream of being a missionary welder, and I used prayer and
everything I learned at HIWT to get there
