In Memoriam
Liddell Eric E. Liddell, 22, of Powell, Ohio, passed away on
October 25, 2015. He was the son of Sherman P. Liddell, Jr. and
Margaret Grace Lesueur. Born in Columbus, Ohio on May 12,
1993, he spent his younger years in Central Ohio and on the
beaches of the Atlantic coast in South Carolina. He moved with
his family to Bakersfeld, California where he played football for
4 years at Stockdale High School, graduating in 2012.
Eric attended Bakersfeld College and graduated from Hobart
Institute of Welding Technology in Troy, Ohio. He was a
welder at Suburban Steel Supply. He loved the outdoors and
spent time fshing, surfng, snowboarding, camping, kayaking,
playing rugby, and practicing target shooting. He was always
happy, and shared his love for life with those around him. He
was happiest when he was able to lift someones spirits by
making them laugh, smile, or fnding a way to help. He warmed
the hearts of his family and friends with his kind words,
compassionate gestures, funny playful antics, or a practical
joke. He naturally made people feel comfortable, and was
everyones best friend.
He is leaving a large footprint for someone whose time was
much too short.
