UA 776 Training Center Expansion

The United Association of Plumbers, Pipefitters and Service
Technicians in Lima, OH recently unveiled their new training center
to the public with an open house that was held on for September
8, 2016. The facility now boasts 20,000 square feet which includes
two classrooms, 20 welding booths and two HVAC training areas in
which apprentices
are taught to
troubleshoot
industrial and
residential units.

The classrooms
include Smart
Boards that can
also be used as
white boards
with the touch
of a button. The
training books that apprentices are using include a 3D application instead of being hand-fed by the person welding. Apprentices
which enables students to manipulate work pages on their smart receive 2,000 hours of on the job training which is free of charge.
