DALE MORRIS RETIRING

Long-time instructor Dale Morris retired in March 2013 after one in their life told them they “had to” go to school. Today,
sharing his knowledge with thousands of students throughout those who do not want to be here really do not even try to

“I probably learned as much as I taught when I did specialized

long-term field training. Working in an industrial setting, one
sees many varied techniques for the same welding process.
On one particular assignment, I was able to see microscopic
tool and die welding that was extremely challenging. We were
working with very low amperage and very small filler wire.”

Through the years, Dale has seen a great improvement in the
Hobart Institute’s facilities and equipment, as well as in the
professional teaching staff. But he is looking forward to a
