Scholarships are money awarded to students based on academic or other achievements to help pay for education expenses. Scholarships
generally do not have to be repaid.
Once a student decides where they would like to attend they should start exploring scholarship opportunities. Knowing what you want
to pursue helps narrow down what scholarships are available to apply for. Be aware of deadlines and requirements of submission.
Incomplete applications could eliminate the students possibility of a review of their information presented.

Calvin Takes Oxyacetylene

There are many classes to take through the 5 or 9 month programs
at Hobart Institute of Welding Technology. I decided to test my
learning skill on what some call an old fashion welding style.
Yes, you may have guessed it, Oxyacetylene Welding & Cutting. I
took the two-week class the last two weeks of July. It was a very
informative class on the process. It defnitely gives you the basic
fundamentals on welding and how to control the puddle, heat
control, and even penetration of metal. I can say that I learned a
tremendous amount about the oxyacetylene process and will utilize
my training in everything else I weld.
