In Memoriam Cody James Lehmkuhl, 22, of Chebanse, Illinois died Sunday
morning, August 9, 2015 as a result of an auto accident in rural
Chebanse Twp.
Cody was born on March 27, 1993, the son of James L. and
Kelly J. Tatro Lehmkuhl. Surviving are his parents, Kelly (Larry)
Bauer of Punta Gorda, FL and James (Michelle Rellis) Lehmkuhl
of Ashkum; Codys fancée, Morgan Johnson of Chebanse; a son,
Brantley James Lehmkuhl of Chebanse; paternal grandparents,
Barb and Jake Jacobs of Fond du Lac, WI; maternal
grandparents, Keith and Linda Tatro of Normal and Dean and
Monica Bauer of Kankakee; paternal great-grandfather, Louie
Stefanich of Clifton; sisters, Jordan Lehmkuhl of Punta Gorda, FL
and Shayna Lehmkuhl of Clifton; step-brother, Christopher Bauer
of Osprey, FL; niece, Adalynne Lehmkuhl; and God-daughter,
Olivia Meents.
Preceding Cody in death were his maternal great-grandmother,
Thelma Stefanich; paternal grandfather, Jim Lehmkuhl; and
maternal grandmother, Joyce Tatro.
Cody was a graduate of Central Community High School, where
he was a multi-talented athlete. He was a 2012 graduate of
Hobart Institute of Welding Technology and was a welding
technician for Citgo Refnery. He enjoyed fshing, hunting, riding
Harley Davidson motorcycles and being with family and friends.
