In Memoriam

Tyler K. MacAlpine, age 21 of Butler Twp., OH, passed away
unexpectedly on Saturday February 21, 2015. He was born April
24, 1993 in Dayton, son of Ty and Kathy (Kesselring) MacAlpine.
Tyler was a member of St Christopher Catholic Church. He was a
graduate of Butler High School and MVCTC Class of 2012. He had
participated in the ROTC program while at MVCTC and was active
in the NRA. He was also a 2014 graduate of the Hobart Institute
of Welding Technology. Tyler was enrolled in the apprenticeship
program with Ironworkers Local #290.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Rose and
Kenneth MacAlpine and maternal grandfather William Kesselring.
Tyler is survived by his parents; one sister, Nicole MacAlpine;
maternal grandmother Nancy Kesselring; aunts Debbie MacAlpine,
Cindy (Al) Barlow, Susan (Tom) Beery; uncles Mike (Teri) Kesselring,
Kyle (Mison) Kesselring, and Kelli Kesselring; girlfriend Jessica
Thomas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services were held February 26 in Vandalia, Ohio. Memorial
contributions may be made to the Vandalia Butler Foundation in Tyler K. MacAlpine
memory of Tyler MacAlpine.
