            Value Proposition

                                           Companies will generally ask or should ask “why do our customers buy from us?”  There can be
                                           multiple reasons, however a reason should be consolidated into a value proposition message
                                           and then marketed.
                                           The term “VALUE” says all you need to know to understand the meaning.  Two key translations
                                           to the definition are:

                                               1)   “Value proposition is a promise of value to be delivered and acknowledged and a
                                                    belief from the customer that value will be delivered and experienced.”


                                               2)   “(in marketing) an innovation, service, or feature intended to make a company or
                                                    product attractive to customers.”

                                           So at HIWT we ask “Why do so many students attend Hobart Institute of Welding Technology?”

                                           All business have a value proposition and welding schools are no different.  A welding school’s
                                           value proposition can look like this:

                                                            “Enter a career industry that has
                                                       sustaining opportunities for many years.”




            Careers, jobs, solid wages and continued opportunities are some of the core reasons students go to welding schools.  AWS has recently
            stated that by the year 2025 the shortage of welders will reach 400,000.  For any individuals looking to enter the welding industry that
            statistic has incredible value.

            Here at HIWT it is a given that our students will get a great education and acquire great skills in all welding processes.  This has been the
            core of our success since 1930 and training well over 100,000 welders.  However, beyond that is the reason they attend HIWT.  HIWT like
            many great welding schools is a
            foundation and gateway for them
            to enter the welding industry.  This
            gateway leads to an incredible
            amount of opportunities, like
            400,000 opportunities!  With the
            amount of welder shortage and high
            demand, any individual wanting
            to enter the welding industry
            would certainly have the value of
            sustaining opportunities for many
            years.
