William Schilling has joined the Institute as a
Skill Instructor in the Lecture Group. Bill came to
HIWT having 43 years of experience in Welding.
Most recently he was a Gas Tungsten Arc Welder at
Airstream welding window frames. His experience
is mostly in the fabrication area. When asked why
he wanted to teach after all these years, he said,
"It has been one of my goals in life to pass on my
experience and knowledge to others that want to get
into welding." In his spare time, he enjoys camping and spending time
