to various plants with robotic installations, working with the

“Without Hobart, none of this would be possible. I can
remember several times that I have had questions while in the
field about welding parameters, processes or other welding
logistics and after a call to Dan, I was able to fix the problem.”
Wade commented, “Having Dan as my mentor has been great.
It just so happens that I am also lucky enough to call him my
            father-in-law.”

“As if amps, volts, and travel speed are not enough, Wade has
learned skills in mechatronics to allow him to trouble-shoot
the electrical and mechanical systems involved in automated
robotic welding systems,” explained Chris Anderson, senior
            welding engineer at Motoman.

Wade is now a field service technician and U.S. service
operations dispatcher for Yaskawa America Incorporated –
            Motoman Robotics Division.

“My position allows me to trouble-shoot issues in the field
as well as over the phone. In addition, I provide quotes for
customer service and dispatch our technicians to facilities to
            resolve issues for our customers.”

Welding continues to serve as the basis for Wade’s career.
