JOnaTHan Ray
Jonathan (Jon) Xavier Ray, son of Gloria Arias, San Salvador,
El Salvador and Joyce and David Ray of Winchester,
Virginia, died July 25, 2011 at his home in Fairfax County.
Born July 26, 1983 in San Salvador, Jonathan came to Winchester
at the age of seven. His quick hand, eye, and foot coordination kept
him busy on the soccer field, playing for the Winchester Wizards
and the Handley Judges Varsity team, playing all four years of
his high school career, graduating in 2003. He was able to use the
same careful hand-eye coordination to execute beautiful welds,
graduating from the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology in 2010.
Jonathan is survived by his parents, David and Joyce Ray,
Winchester, two sisters Jessica and Johanna, and a brother Brian Ray.
