This sign project is a real-world example
of how most welders and fabricators work
together and is seldom seen by the public’s
eye. Instead, it’s public safety that is the
number one concern when engineers,
architects, and designers rely on when
putting their thoughts down and establishing
blueprints as the welder builds structures,
pipe lines, tunnels, towers, buildings etc.
The welder’s work is hidden deep beneath
the surface of the structure but it’s the core
strength that the structure relies on to keep
it standing for the public to admire.
Neil Mansfield is a graduate of Hobart Students sit in front of completed sign.
Institute, a retired Navy Chief, NYC
Ironworker, and a blacksmith / artist.
