That could also involve automotive
restoration. Whatever they decide, they
will certainly be an asset to any company
that appreciates punctuality and ambition in
addition to skill.

Jonathan completed the Pipe Layout for
Pipefitters and Welders in addition to the
Combination Structural and Pipe Welding
Program at Hobart Institute. They enjoy
golfing and other sports, video games,
welding art and woodcarving. The three
brothers continue to help their parents on
the family farm near Yellow Springs, Ohio.
The three have an older sister, 28, and a
younger brother, age 14. Perhaps in a few
years, the number of Hightower brothers
holding an HIWT diploma will reach four!

Sharing many of the tasks that come with life on the farm, and most online retailers.
it isn’t too surprising that the three Hightower brothers grew
up with a strong work ethic that has resulted in a perfect
attendance record at Hobart Institute for each of them. Daniel,
26, Jonathan, 24, and Stephen, 22, were home-schooled, are
employed by the same company, and commute to school
together in their yellow “welding mobile” – a Chevy Aveo.

When considering their careers, Daniel thought about
becoming an engineer; Jonathan was considering becoming
a veterinarian; and Stephen wanted to restore cars. Then, Jon
and Stephen decided to attend Hobart Institute, but had to
work a bit to convince Daniel to join them. One of the great
things about learning to weld is that each of the brothers will
be able to use their skills in whichever direction they wish to
go. Certainly the field of welding engineering would not be
out of the question.

For Jonathan, who enjoys horses and art, that might just be
on an offshore rig, which he believes would be a challenge he
would like to try. Daniel prefers TIG welding and would prefer
the aerospace industry. Stephen – who his brothers agree is
the best welder of the family – is willing to go anywhere that List Price $99
offers a nice salary and good benefits!
