Hobart Institute of Welding Technology Holds Fall Job Fair

On September 12, HIWT held the final job fair for the year. Twenty- area. Those that had attended previously had the opportunity
one employers were in attendance and while some had attended to view the newly renovated welding area that was just opened
in the past, some new faces graced the Career Development in July and were impressed by how bright it was. Those that
had never attended before were able
to receive a tour of the campus where
the students they were getting ready to
meet get their welding training. Over
175 students came through the job fair
eager to meet employers and discuss the
many opportunities that await them in the
welding field. As the shortage of welders
continues to grow, the students here at
HIWT will have many avenues in which to
take their careers upon graduation.
