HIWT Announces Welder Winner

Graduate Dylan Bragg from Peoria, IL is the latest winner of a Lincoln
Electric power MIG 140mp welder. Dylan was eligible to be in the raffle
for the welder by notifying Career Services of his graduate employment
within ninety days of graduation.
Dylan says he got into welding while in high school. His grandfather tried
out welding and thought it was cool, even though he had never done it
before. Knowing that his grandfather enjoyed it, Dylan decided to try it
out and fell in love with it as well. "I wanted to further my education in
welding and wanted to make it my career, so I chose to attend Hobart
Institute of Welding Technology", stated Dylan. "It was one of the best
schools to go to learn all types of welding skills. I finished my 10-month
Combination Structural & Pipe Welding program on June 3, 2022. I am
now working at a metal fabrication manufacturer in Morton, Illinois
welding different types of parts for Caterpillar and John Deere".
