Hobart Institute of Welding attended the ConExpo/Con Agg Trade Show
in Las Vegas in March. This event is the largest show in North America Start building the future
that is run by the industry. It is the international gathering place for
the construction industries, showcasing the latest equipment, products, Start building with Fabcon
services, and technologies.
The school had a booth at the show and spoke with representatives
in the construction industry about specialized training, certification/
qualification services and the many Technical Training courses offered at
the Institute. Many conversations centered around the need to hire, and
the difficulty companies are having in attracting and retaining top talent.
One thing discussed was the need to upskill and invest in current staff
and how continuing education training is a valuable tool for companies
to utilize.
