One World Trade Center is now a fixture in the New York
skyline. Upon completion, it will be the tallest building in
the United States and one of the tallest in the world. It is
scheduled to be complete by the end of 2013 and is expected
to be 82 stories and 1,776 feet high. Before construction could
begin, crews had to excavate nearly 100 feet down.
