            Since the program was launched in 2006, nearly 500 teams and
            over 2,000 students have participated in the BOTS program.
            Educators involved in the program say that the Xtreme BOTS
            program is the “difference maker” for encouraging talented
            students to enter  engineering  and precision  machining
            programs and several schools have incorporated  robots
            directly into their curriculum.

            Marketing and Career Development Representative    Eric Cooper is the welding instructor at J. Everett Light Career
                                                               Center and each year he hosts this competition.  One hundred
                                                               and  five  (105)  high  school  welding  students  from  fifteen
                                                               schools  in  Indiana,  Illinois,  and  Kentucky  competed  in  the
                                                               two day event.

                                                               “This contest is a great chance for welding students to test
                                                               their skills they have learned against industry standards and
