The Spotlight is on You

            Russ Shurtz, CWI/CWE/CWS, Technical Instructor,        Jennifer Parin, Compliance and Student Services Manager,
            Employed at HIWT since 2007                            Employed at HIWT since 2015


























            Russ is an instructor in the Technical area of HIWT.  He teaches many  Jennifer started her career with HIWT as a Registrar/Financial
            courses as needed, but specifically teaches the Certified Welding   Aid Administrator.  From that position, she moved into the role of
            Inspector Course and is considered one of the best. Prior to coming to  Financial Aid Administrator and finally to Compliance and Student
            Hobart Institute of Welding Technology, Russ did various welding and  Services Manager.  In this role, she prepares and submits all
            inspection type jobs, was a structural steel welder, a field inspector   compliance and accreditation reporting, works with students to
            in coal fueled power plants and a pressure vessel welder on vacuum   assist them on achieving the career path that best suits them, and
            jacketed cryogenic tanks.  Russ enjoys teaching for many reasons,   manages the registrar and financial aid staff. Prior to working at
