Interview and Weld Test on Campus? Yes, Please

One of the greatest things about being
a student at HIWT are the number of
opportunities that await after graduation.
The Institute maintains a job board with a
plethora of jobs in pretty much every industry.
During the course of a 24 or 40 week program,
students have the opportunity to attend job
fairs as well as get face to face contact with
employers that come on campus to give
presentations about their job opportunities,
conduct interviews and weld test students who
are interested.
Recently we have had BAE Systems, Wyoming
CAT, General Dynamics and Vermeer on
campus doing weld tests and interviews. This
is a great way for students to be able to secure
employment before graduation and gives
employers direct access to students who want
to work for them. It also exposes students
who are not ready to graduate to company
representatives.
