Janet Piechocki receives Recognition Award from the Local 10 in Virginia
Janet Piechocki has been in the welding industry for many years, and has been
with the Institute for almost fifteen of those years. That lends itself to knowing
a lot of people in the welding world. Janet works hard to ensure our graduates
get great jobs, and that our employers get the specific type of graduate they
are looking for. Recently, Janet received an award from the Local 10 Plumbers,
Pipefitters and Steamfitters in Virginia for her role in helping them hire HIWT
graduates. The award they sent her says “The Officers and Members of
Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union 10 would like to thank Janet Piechocki,
Hobart Institute of Welding Technology for all the support she has given in
the pursuit of training the future workforce of tomorrow. You are a friend and
an inspiration to all who work beside you.” Truer words could not be spoken.
Congratulations to Janet on a job well done.
