Ryan Douglas Oberly Adam Joseph Smith

OBERLY – Ryan Douglas age Adam Joseph Smith, age
32 of Springfield passed away 37 of Hamilton, passed
unexpectedly on Friday, June 3, away on Friday, June 10,
2022. He was born on February 2022 at Fort Hamilton
16, 1990 in Springfield, Ohio Hospital, surrounded by
the son of Douglas Oberly and the love of his friends,
Sandra (Kevin) Weber. In addition family, and two goombas
to his parents, Ryan is survived from New York. Adam
by his adoring wife, Amanda was born on September
“Mandy” Young Oberly; children: 17, 1984 in Hamilton, the
Matthew Ryan Oberly, Skyler son of Robert and Deborah
David Oberly, Faith Michelle Cole, (Jurrus) Smith. Adam
and Dylan Ryan Cole; siblings: Kyle Sarven, Chelsea Weber Jenkins, graduated from Hamilton High School, and the Hobart Institute of
and Kevin (Sarah) Weber Jr.; maternal grandmother Irene Salyers; Welding Technology. Adam’s true passions were his art, animals,
paternal grandmother, Connie Oberly; aunts, Linda Monroe and Rhonda and nature. Adam is survived by his parents, Robert and Deborah;
Reeves; cousins: Alyssia, Amanda, and Haliegh. Ryan also leaves behind brother, David (Sheena McCoy) Smith; nephews, Ryker Joseph
his mother-in-law, Michelle (Bill) Young; sister-in-law, Amber Young; Smith and Vincent Smith; fiancé Sarah Combs; and many other
brother-in-law, Landon Hicks as well as many friends including his “work family members and friends. Condolences may be left for the family

maternal grandfather, Ray Salyers; paternal grandfather, Lonnie Oberly
and his cousin, Cassie Monroe. Ryan was a talented welder earning
his certification from Hobart Institute of Welding Technology and had
been employed by American Steel Fabricators and NU Riser Stair Co. in
Springfield. From a young child Ryan had a difficult road ahead of him;
he was plagued with sickness and fought every day to not let it define
him. He had an amazing work ethic and always wanted to be better
than yesterday. He was a role model for fighting for the life he wanted
through all his hardships. Ryan had a love of nature and animals. More
than anything, Ryan loved spending time with his family and children. He
will be truly missed as a son, husband, dad and friend.
