HIWT Attends FABTECH in Atlanta

Billed as North America’s largest metal forming, fabricating, welding, and
finishing event, the FABTECH show brings manufacturers and suppliers
from all over the world to one place. This year’s show was held at
the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta. The three
interconnected buildings were filled to the brim offering the latest and
greatest equipment exhibitors had to offer.
HIWT has been a staple at this event for many years. As the welder
shortage continues to grow, there is a great need for employers to be
able to upskill their current staff as well as get top notch training for
new employees. Hobart Institute has been offering training to new and
experienced welders for over 90 years. The team that attended the show
discussed the many services the Institute offers. In addition to offering
quality welding training, the Institute is an AWS® Accredited Test
Facility and can qualify and certify welders, write WPS’s and partner with
companies to create training programs.
