A mother and daughter from Michigan were selected by their
company to attend the Welding for the Nonwelder class in late
summer. Patricia Oubeck and her daughter, Alicia Shafer, are
            both employees at Weld-Aid Products.

“I work in customer service and am interested in gaining
a better understanding of how the Weld-Aid anti-spatter
products are used in the field,” explained Patricia.

Alicia, who works in the purchasing department, agreed. “The
class has definitely provided me with a better understanding of
            the welding processes.”

“When Tony Zaccagni of Weld-Aid suggested the course to
us, I had no idea what to expect,” said Alicia. “The class has
included more hands-on welding than I expected and has been
            a fun experience.”
                                                                            Alicia Shafer and Patricia Oubeck
“I have a greater respect for welding and the skill level that is
involved,” Patricia continued. “Our instructor, Elmer Swank,
makes welding look so easy and his welds are so perfect. It The next Welding for the Nonwelder class at Hobart Institute is
